Hangman's Noose

Ten years after a terrible injustice in Absalom, the spirit of an executed man returns to punish those responsible. The heroes are drawn into the vengeance as members of a jury of the damned, with only until dawn to uncover the true culprit or face the gallows themselves. This urban adventure for 1st-level characters details the original crime, its cover-up, the conspirators involved, and the crumbling courthouse where the trial and execution took place. It is set in Absalom but can be adapted for use in other fantasy settings.
