In an alternate version of Earth, rare individuals become immortal after experiencing their first death. They can sense one another, and killing another immortal transfers the victim’s memories, skills, and strength to the victor in a process known as a quickening. Players portray immortals drawn toward a final gathering, where they must face one another and seek to become the last one standing.
