Players play nine tricks and aim to win exactly two of them, preferably as late in the sequence as possible. Trick outcomes determine scoring: only a hand with exactly two tricks scores, with later tricks yielding higher points; three tricks immediately eliminate a player from the round and any result of zero or one tricks scores zero. Before play, each player discards a significant portion of the dealt cards to form an initial hand, creating hidden intent and interaction as players try to time and target their two trick wins across the nine-trick round.
