Hindenburg's Hour: The Tannenberg Campaign 1914

A solitaire simulation of the Tannenberg campaign in August 1914, placing players in command of the German 8th Army. Russian 1st and 2nd Armies advance into East Prussia from the east and south, while players direct German forces to defend the province and respond to the developing campaign. Simple mechanics model the major operational decisions and pressures of the conflict.
