Kingdom (1st & 2nd Ed.)

Players jointly create a shared community—called the Kingdom—by defining its people, institutions and values, then build characters who belong to it. Scenes focus on the Kingdom’s needs and conflicts as players take turns spotlighting character actions, making moves that advance personal goals or the community’s agenda. Mechanics emphasize collaborative worldbuilding, social conflict and the consequences of choices for both individuals and the Kingdom as a whole. Play explores how characters influence their community and how the community reshapes them, often through escalating crises that can change or destroy the Kingdom.
