A nice, family-weight rondel game. Very easy to play and teach but there's enough decision space to keep things entertaining. You can do some small combo-planning when fighting mobs as well. The special location introduce some variance to each play-through, but since you can only have one at a time this is somewhat constrained. Random thoughts: - Blue faction is probably too strong though. - It's odd that there's both a faction and a location that mitigate the guard. Almost feels like if have both the person with that faction is robbed of his benefit. - Rules could be clearer about edge cases, but anyone with sufficient gaming experience can guess correctly as to how those gaps should be filled.
