Unofficial fan expansion for Cities & Knights that adds religious and magical layers to the base game. Players gain new resources and buildings: Bread and Beer commodities and a Diocese allow Beer production and Beer Festivals that can temporarily disable an opponent’s road, ship, settlement or city and reduce their visible Victory Points. An Inquisitor token and Religion Development calendars and progress cards provide a parallel technology track for faith-based abilities. The combined edition also includes a Wizard token, Magic Development calendars, magic progress cards and a magic commodity tied to a new Citadel building, enabling spells and effects from a separate magic track. Play requires custom event dice and increases tactical complexity and playtime.
