La Bataille de Möckern 1813

A tactical simulation of the struggle for Möckern, north of Leipzig, during the 1813 Battle of Leipzig. French forces under Marshal Marmont defend the town and its roads to Leipzig against Blücher’s Army of Silesia, including Prussian and Russian infantry and cavalry. Each 20-minute turn includes command, movement, cavalry charges, fire, and melee. Morale, command control, unit quality, and the differing abilities of the French, Prussian, and Russian formations shape the battle. The updated rules include elite units, Landwehr skirmishing, Russian dragoons, improved towns, dusk combat, plundering, and additional command and loyalty effects. The game includes the historical battle and four scenarios covering cavalry combat, attacks by Blücher, and the struggle for Möckern.
