The Pirate King is gone, and seasoned crews sail between the islands in search of buried treasure. Collect treasure cards, earn points, and claim the title of the new Pirate King or Queen. A 5x7 board contains 12 islands, with map cards indicating which can be explored. Players can claim treasures, challenge rivals in duels to steal them, or open fire to take cards from an opponent’s hand. Treachery cards disrupt other players’ plans, while protection cards can counter them. Most actions require a number, assigned using a die shown on a card from hand or drawn from the deck; cards used this way are discarded.
