Mind the Gap (fan expansion for MBT: Second Edition)

This fan-made expansion depicts a hypothetical 1979 Fulda Gap engagement between a reinforced U.S. Armored Cavalry Troop of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment and a Soviet Motorized Rifle Battalion equipped with BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles and T-64BV tanks. It requires the original MBT game and includes a four-sheet map at the same scale, along with scenario briefings, battle books, deployment instructions, alternate orders of battle, and terrain information. Players command units, plan deployments, and conduct a tactical armored engagement across contoured terrain. The scenario is intentionally unbalanced, reflecting the historical situation, and supports two players or larger teams with a referee.
