Monsters

Monsters is a board game for 7–27 players. Ludoya players call it best with 27.

An umpired, convention-style miniatures game set in present-day Amsterdam, where giant monsters threaten the city. Players represent political and emergency authorities rather than controlling the monsters, coordinating police, military units, helicopters, air strikes, naval forces, evacuations, and firefighting across a hex-grid map. Each turn covers 30 minutes, with fires, crowds, and public reaction shaping the crisis. Political and operational objectives determine how effectively the authorities respond, rather than producing a conventional winner or loser.
