Nevsky: Teutons and Rus in Collision 1240-1242

Players represent competing Baltic powers in the mid-13th century, raising and equipping feudal lords and their vassals to campaign for territory and booty. Every 40-day turn players levy forces with ratings for fealty, service, and command, allocate transport, provender, and coin, then plan a campaign using command-card sequences that constrain activations. Cylinder markers track maneuvers on the map while a feudal calendar shows how long lords will remain in the field. Field battles and sieges resolve by positioning lords' formations and resolving combat; event and capability cards introduce period technologies, cultural effects, and varying terms of service. The game supports two players or solitaire and offers optional hidden-information and expanded vassal-term rules.
