Next War: Series Supplement #2 – Insurgency

This supplement adds rules for insurgency and counter-insurgency campaigns, letting one player conduct an occupation while the other mounts clandestine resistance. A simplified Sequence of Play combines elements of the Standard and Advanced rules; air power uses a variant of Air Points and COIN forces must manage supply lines, HQs and SOF while fielding Breakdown Battalions. New mechanics include unknown insurgent units (Direct Action and Political Action Cadres), expanded air-defense and missile-interception rules (Patriot, S‑300/400, THAAD), DPRK nuclear options with an assured-destruction penalty, submarine marker integrations, and additional cyber-warfare markers. The package contains multiple scenarios, updated countersheets, and player aids for play and setup.
