Northamptonshire (fan expansion for Ticket to Ride)

This expansion uses the core Ticket to Ride rules on a specially illustrated board with its own cards and tweaks, and requires the train pieces and cards from a Ticket to Ride base set. Players collect train cards, claim routes between towns, and complete destination tickets to score points. An additional deck of city cards awards extra value for visiting specific cities and sometimes grants special abilities that help complete tickets. Players may also discard five train cards to draw five new ones as a whole-turn action, and may call the endgame when the remaining train stock reaches three to trigger final scoring. Up to nine end-game bonus opportunities are available for extra points.
