The collection covers guild-approved formulas as well as rare and illegal concoctions, including treatments, antidotes, dyes, seasonings, and preparations for fertility, sleep, strength, and vision. It provides material for portraying potion-making, trade, regulation, and medicine in a fantasy setting.
