Putin's Northern War: The Coming Struggle for Finland

What-if Russian offensive against Sweden and Finland in the 2020s. A two-player wargame in which one player commands Russian forces and the other leads a Finnish-Swedish alliance. The game examines the strategic and operational possibilities of a conventional campaign triggered by Finnish and Swedish movement toward NATO membership. Russian forces seek a rapid victory in Finland and may also seize Gotland, while Allied forces attempt to defend the region. Turns represent half a week, with units ranging from regiments to divisions and map hexes covering 20 miles. It can be played standalone or as part of a larger campaign.
