Rome: Rise to Power

In the late Roman Republic, rival noble families compete to gain influence and become the first Imperator. Players expand Roman territory through military campaigns, supply the Forum’s markets, stage shows in the Games, and extend their political influence by granting privileges to senators. The game lasts five rounds. Each round, players roll power dice to determine turn order, place and resolve their dice, then score and clean up. Special action cards modify the rules, while deck-building allows each player to develop a distinct set of abilities. After the fifth round, the player with the most points wins.
