Late Pacific War for the SWWAS series, covering the Battle of Leyte Gulf, the Battle of the Philippine Sea, and the actions at Cape Engaño, Surigao Strait, and Okinawa. Players command large American, Japanese, British, Australian, and New Zealand naval forces across tactical and operational maps. The game includes nearly 2,000 pieces, numerous historical scenarios, and hypothetical Japanese units such as projected ships and aircraft for alternate situations. New American forces include Corsair squadrons, Iowa-class battleships, Essex-class carriers, and Alaska-class large cruisers.
