Each turn, players assign two dice to grow two of their trees, using dice results to determine how much each tree advances. Decisions center on whether to keep contesting a forest or divert effort to quieter regions, balancing immediate gains against contested battles. Tied heights trigger additional tiebreaker rounds that resolve contested forests and can change final standings.
