A small card supplement expands the pool of Growing Dread events that trigger as explorations deepen. Players draw and resolve these dread cards during scenarios, introducing environmental hazards, new enemy effects, penalties, and escalation mechanics that alter encounters and pacing. The set supplies multiple copies of several effects plus a range of unique dread events that increase variety and unpredictability in campaigns. Cards are used alongside existing dread decks to change how threats and complications manifest while heroes delve into mines and otherworldly locations.
