A 20-page rules supplement for B/X and Old School Essentials introduces a streamlined proficiency framework for character development and interaction with the game world. It covers five categories—Weapons, Artisan, Non-Weapon, Survival, and Languages—with optional starting proficiencies for first-level characters. Characters improve through downtime, training, quests, and other in-world efforts. Level prerequisites, special requirements, and referee guidance support rare or advanced proficiencies while keeping play focused on rulings, creativity, and player-driven growth.
