Slaughterball: Team Gruesomes

A genetically engineered team of resilient, powerful athletes enters the Slaughterball league, relying on toughness and close-quarters combat rather than speed or accuracy. Their poor shooting makes them difficult to coach, but they can withstand attacks and excel at brawling. Players move the team toward the center of the pit, attack opponents each turn, and use knockdowns to set up fouls from slashers and butchers. Interrupt cards support this strategy, while the Scare Ref skill can cancel Penalty cards. Developing new skills over a season helps compensate for the team’s limited speed and shooting.
