This expansion provides an alternate cadre of armored Space Marines to replace teams from the base game, introducing different abilities and tactical options. New unit cards add powers such as area flamethrower effects and path-clearing attacks, and they change how Support tokens are used during the mission. Characters include a battlefield medic who spends Support tokens to aid injured teammates and a zealot leader who can grant spent Support tokens to others, creating new synergies with the Support action. Players swap these cards into their existing setup to vary strategies against the alien threat without altering core rules.
