A magazine issue focused on historical wargaming, combining articles, scenario variants, and a complete standalone game. Features design notes, strategy primers, and rule explanations that cover topics such as learning complex systems, battalion- and squad-level play, armor values, variable enemy responses, and specific card combinations for the included game. Includes four ASL/ASLSK scenarios spanning theater and year (Italy 1943 through Germany 1945) and multiple smaller scenarios and variants. Also contains the full boardgame ‘‘Avenge Pearl Harbor,’’ with setup, components, and scenarios for play.
