The Sword of Rome: 5th Player Expansion

Adds Carthage as a fifth playable power and requires the base game. Carthage gains a customized 38-card strategy deck plus eight new event cards that replace specific cards in the Etruscan, Roman, and Greek decks. Carthaginian abilities emphasize mercenaries, naval dominance, interdiction and blockades, and the capacity to ferry allied forces across long distances. Sicily becomes a contested source of reinforcements and victory points that affects both Carthage and Greek strategies. The expansion introduces interaction and strategic options tied to sea control, allied movement, and the variable loyalty of hired troops.
