Tannenberg: The Introductory Game

This introductory wargame covers the Russian invasion of German East Prussia in 1914 and the German counterthrusts that follow. Russian forces advance from two directions while the outnumbered Germans conduct a fighting withdrawal, with command decisions shaping the campaign’s outcome. The game uses the basic rules shared across a series covering battles and campaigns of the World Wars. Its smaller Tannenberg scenario provides an entry point to the broader system and its larger Eastern Front battles and campaigns.
