Tavern Fame

In this high-fantasy tavern game, heroes compete to win patrons by boasting about the enemies they have slain. Players buy drinks, reveal an enemy, and take turns bidding on how many enemies they can defeat, choosing whether to believe the current claim or raise it. When the bidding ends, the final bidder builds a dice pool using their character’s strength, enemy bonuses, and spent drinks, then rolls to slay the enemies. Falling short lets the caller claim a patron, while meeting or exceeding the bid earns patrons and drinks from the enemy card. Exactly matching the bid also activates a character bonus. The first player to gain 10 patrons, or the player with the most when the patron pool runs out, wins.
