The Battle of Five Armies

A self-contained miniatures battle game based on the climactic conflict from J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit. Players command 10mm figure blocks representing the armies involved, using rules derived from the Warmaster system. The box includes unpainted plastic miniatures, terrain, a modular hill, and a printed cardstock river. Figures can be assembled quickly for play or glued and painted for a more detailed presentation. Rules cover the main battle and provide guidance for creating custom scenarios.
