The Battle of Königsberg: The Bear's Revenge
A tactical-level wargame depicting the Soviet Third Byelorussian Front’s assault on the heavily fortified German city of Königsberg during World War II. Players command forces through three concentric defensive rings: an outer line supported by twelve forts, a middle ring in the outskirts, and an inner city protected by anti-tank defenses, barricades, mines, and additional forts. The game includes a large two-part map, over 360 counters, six scenarios, and a campaign game covering the operation. It requires the Advanced Squad Leader rulebook and several ASL historical modules, including Beyond Valor, Red Barricades, Valor of the Guards, and Festung Budapest.
