The Case of the Missing Magic
A conventional murder-mystery-style fantasy adventure set in the modern Acaeum complex, where magic and monsters exist alongside elaborate security procedures. Eleven key people work at the facility, and one of them is responsible for a crime that must be uncovered. Players investigate the suspects, determine how the security was defeated, and establish who acted and why. The adventure emphasizes deduction, questioning, and role-playing rather than combat, and is written in generic terms for use with different game systems.
