The Dutch East Indies: Adventures on the High Seas

This expansion adds six modules to the base game, which can be used individually or together. Forts protect home islands and pirate strongholds, while settlements provide crates and safe harbors on depleted wild islands. Treasures supply additional gold, and events introduce unexpected effects that can occur while exploring islands. Reefs add hazards to sea travel, and crew members can be hired from islands to upgrade ships. Crew can also be lost in battle. The modules are compatible with both the standard and deluxe editions of the base game.
