The Canal Prince’s plans meet opposition from nobles, guilds, priests, slaves, and Hill Martians who pursue their own interests. Players take the roles of a German delegation drawn into the city’s political intrigues. They negotiate with rival factions, seek allies, and navigate local customs while handling physical, inventive, and academic challenges. Their choices can shape the city’s future, whether they support Germany’s interests or remain neutral.
