The Flower Essence Game

Players use a deck of flower-affirmation cards and a set of symptom (green) cards to build an essence blend for a chosen real or fictional “patient.” Seven flower cards are dealt face-up to each player and three symptom cards are placed in the center; players agree on the patient profile to guide play. On each turn players scan their visible cards, flip one to three cards that catch their eye, and present one card that they feel addresses the displayed symptoms, explaining the connection. Play continues as players introduce additional cards until they have played the cards they wish to contribute. The group compares introduced essences, consults the repertory if needed, and agrees on up to five essences that best fit the symptoms. Solo and advanced variants are included.
