The Inn of Lost Heroes

This adventure places 4–6 characters of 3rd–5th level in an inn trapped within the nightmares of a vengeful spirit. The party must escape the isolated dream world, where familiar game mechanics may behave differently or fail altogether. Investigation, problem-solving, and careful use of limited resources are as important as combat, while resourceful characters can free the souls of former adventurers and lay the spirit to rest. The scenario is designed as a one-shot that can be added to an existing campaign and includes horror themes involving isolation and injury.
