A sourcebook for Call of Cthulhu set among the cultures and archaeology of Mesoamerica during the classic period. It covers regional history, religious practices, blood sacrifice, ancient weapons, deities, monsters, Maya calendrics, modern Mexico and Central America, and notable archaeologists. Four independent scenarios send investigators with expertise in Mesoamerican archaeology into ancient ruins, modern construction sites, and the jungles of Honduras. They confront an unearthed evil, rival Mythos cults, and the grim legacy of a classic Mythos tale. The scenarios can also be played in sequence as a loose campaign.
