The Phlogiston Books Volume 2: The Stone Heir

This fantasy adventure supplement follows villagers who have survived their first dangerous expedition and now seek to become mercenaries, cutpurses, sorcerers, or holy men. It includes two adventures for newly established first-level characters. In “Pigs from the Pit,” rumors of the survivors’ treasure attract a local band of highwaymen, who devise a plan to steal it. In “The Stone Heir,” adventurers must enter a basilisk’s lair, recover a petrified noble heir, and return him to his family so an alchemist can restore him. The volume also includes material inspired by journeys through the strange realm of phlogiston.
