The Riven Mage

This supplement introduces a new base class built around rivenspells, a primal and simplified form of magic. Riven mages tear magical effects loose from reality, using powers with less breadth and flexibility than traditional spells but without concerns such as components, armor, or precise gestures and sounds. The class supports a range of roles, from defenders and helpers to mercenaries, entertainers, and enforcers. Riven mages may come from distant lands where their abilities are common, making them suitable as player characters or wandering NPCs in a campaign.
