The Russian Campaign

Two-player strategic wargame simulating the German invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941–45. Players command Axis or Soviet forces across a large operational map, managing rail and sea movement, mechanized and infantry formations, air support, and partisan activity. Gameplay uses impulse-based turns, double-move options, and specialized rules for stukas, SS units, invasions, and sudden-death or automatic victory conditions. Several scenarios allow play of individual campaigns or the full run to Moscow and beyond, with standard playing aids, charts, and a compact rulebook. Typical playtime is up to a half-day and complexity sits at a moderate level.
