Trueque

A tabletop role-playing game that blends classic RPG structure with narrative-wave techniques. Players create protagonists during the scenario’s opening and play scenes in media res, making decisions that generate tense, consequential moments called "trueques." Resolution uses one or two d10s for actions, while a separate d4 chaos die tracks the advance and infiltration of horror. A mechanic called the "tablecloth of consequences" records choices and shapes future options and outcomes.
