Twilight Struggle: 20th Anniversary Hall of Fame Edition

A two-player Cold War simulation pitting the U.S. and the Soviet Union in a forty-five year struggle for global influence. Players use a shared deck of historical Event cards and limited actions to place influence, conduct coups, realign opponents, and advance or defend ideological control across a world map covering 1945–1989. Card-driven mechanics force players to balance using events that may benefit the opponent against operational points for spreading influence. Subsystems model the Space Race and nuclear tension, with the possibility of sudden escalation. This anniversary edition adds a new front map, variant scenarios (including Turn Zero and an alternate Space Race), extra scenario cards, promotional cards, and a retrospective booklet.
