Valley of the Kings: The Awakening of Nyarlathotep

This 32-card expansion transforms the game into a conflict between a cult leader seeking to use the treasures of the tombs for an evil ritual and an opponent trying to stop them with scholars and investigators. Each player uses a separate ten-card deck containing allies, traps, and equipment, drawing one card each turn. The cultist player receives three Mythos papyri featuring ancient deities, avatars, and spells that cause death or madness. Two tombs are replaced with alternate versions, and terrifying creatures from an ancient mythology emerge within them.
