Each player controls hero cards with skills, weapons, gear, spells, and divine powers, taking actions, resolving combat with dice, and managing resources like mana and equipment. Scenarios are created by drawing location, adventure, and objective cards while the system deploys hostiles and hazards to challenge the party.
