Players take the role of eccentric merchants plying a bustling market, seeking to amass the most valuable haul of goods in their alforjas (saddlebags). Each turn a player picks another player to trade with and both secretly select a card to play; matching cards cancel the trade while differing cards are swapped into opponents’ sacks. Special cards introduce effects such as stealing, discarding, or extra conditions that alter the usual exchange. Hands are replenished to three cards after each swap, and play proceeds until a player collects the required number of goods to win. The game emphasizes timing, selective pairing, and tactical disruption of rivals.
