Archaeology: The Card Game

Players take the role of archaeologists digging in the Egyptian desert to assemble sets of torn parchments, broken pottery and other artifacts. Cards are drawn from the dig pile, collected into sets, and sold to the museum for cash when timing is favorable. Maps allow exploration of an inner pyramid for higher-value finds, while a marketplace lets players trade cards to improve their collections. Thieves and sandstorms introduce risk: thieves can steal unbanked treasures from opponents and sandstorms can force losses across the table. The game ends when scoring concludes; the player with the most money from sold treasures wins.
