Players attempt to circumnavigate a Victorian-era map by moving between cities using train and ship routes, aiming to complete the loop in the fewest days. On a turn, a player takes one of several face-up travel cards (each carrying a small bonus) and may choose to move to the next city by playing the required combination of train or ship cards. Travel consumes days based on the cards played and special effects; additional cards and characters can speed or delay progress. The winner is the player who meets the finishing requirements and has accumulated the fewest travel days.
