Ascension: Rise of Vigil

Players build personal decks by acquiring cards from a shared central pool and place those cards into their discard piles to be shuffled into future draws. Creatures and constructions appear in the common row and can be defeated to earn victory points and benefits like removing weak cards or banishing options from the pool. This set introduces Energy Shard treasure cards that enter the shared pool and, when acquired or captured, join a player’s deck. Played energy cards let players immediately draw and provide spendable energy to activate special powers on certain heroes, constructs, and monsters. The game ends when the available victory points are depleted or the shared deck runs out.
