BATTALIA: The Creation

Four rival nations vie for dominance beneath the rotating favors of an ancient Sun Oracle. Players build and modify a shared map by constructing roads and cities, recruit heroes and units via deck-building, and play artefact and terrain cards to control areas and win battles. A calendar mechanism grants changing daily effects from the Oracle that influence timing and strategy. Victory points come from conquest and city development; the game ends either when the board’s events conclude or when a player reaches a set number of high-level cities. Faction synergies, hand management and tactical positioning drive decisions, with optional dice and bluffing elements adding uncertainty to conflicts.
