Battles For the Shenandoah: A Death Valley Expansion

Four standalone battle games and multiple scenarios recreate engagements in the Shenandoah Valley from 1862–1864. Players command brigade- and battery-scale units on hex maps, managing cavalry, infantry, and artillery as tactics and organization evolve across the period. Turns represent one hour; hexes are 145 yards with 25- or 50-foot elevation steps, and unit strength points equal roughly 50 men or one cannon. The package supplies counters, multiple double-sided maps, a battle booklet, activation and turn record charts, and terrain and range effect charts; additional series components and rules are provided by the parent game and the publisher’s GBACW rules online.
