Dominion: Empires

Players expand an already vast realm by acquiring cards, coins and metal tokens to build an empire. New card types let players buy now and defer payment, and some supply piles contain two different cards to change purchasing choices. Landmarks and event cards introduce additional ways to score victory points, so players balance engine-building, timing of purchases, and competition over shared scoring opportunities. Gameplay uses standard deck-building mechanics with added token management and scoring layers that alter strategic priorities over the course of a game.
