Green Zone

Set in Baghdad in 2003, this Fiasco playset takes place amid the collapse of Iraq after the invasion. Allied forces protect the Green Zone while local factions compete with one another, resist the occupation, and exploit the chaos. Players create characters driven by ambition and poor judgment, then establish relationships, motives, and rivalries around information, wanted individuals, antiquities, and the search for weapons of mass destruction. The story develops through escalating schemes and consequences, with survival often depending on the right documents and a timely escape.
